The Best Way to Apply Fiber Mascara

As a follow up to 'What Are these Fibers in My Mascara?' Here is the best way to apply fiber mascaras.

First you know how usually when you take your mascara wand out, you wipe the tip of excess. Don't do this for the first steps of each eye. Instead you want it to be pretty coated. Do one eye at a time so the mascara doesn't dry on your lashes before your done.

1. Using the tip of your wand and the same root to tip motion as usual, apply the mascara built up on the tip of the wand, this part of the wand has the most amount fibers as it has the most mascara in one spot. Immediately you start to see very thin fibers being applied to your beautiful natural lash line.

2. Once you've fibered up the array of your lash line proceed to remove excess mascara from the tip and use the wand normally but with pressure against the lash to really get that curl and make sure the fibers are aligned straight with your lashes before they dry.

3. Repeat step two if you want darker, thicker, fuller and longer lashes as usually fiber mascaras are incredibly build-able, (even though your not using the tip anymore, fibers will still grab on to your lashes from the bristles of your wand).

4. Remove any crooked or excess fibers after they have dried so its not messy to do and you don't ruin your shape, this will really perfect the look you've created by making sure nothing is out of place. You may use an eye lash comb to help you, but be cautious, of the bristles are too close together they will grab and pull off the fibers and possibly damage you lashes.

If you have any tips you wanna include please let me know and ill add them in with blogger credit along with a shout out!!!!

thanks for reading folks <3

Open Pores, Close Pores!

Okay so we've all heard that heat opens our pores and cold closes them. Well it's pretty much true... Basically heat expands everything and cold compresses everything but it doesn't open or close things that didnt already have a opening. The size change is never noticeable to the eye except when pores are big enough when normal or expanded to remove the shine or well smoothness from things ie. you hair or skin.

At night, when randomly your house is making all these creeking noises and your terrified. Blanket up over your face, hair spray in hand as an arosol weapon.... Well don't freak out! That's a perfect example of the temperature change happening, obviously getting colder, your house is just compressing causing those creepy creeks.

This all being said now to our point... Open your pores using steam, heat, warm or hot water and use this opportunity to really clean these bad boys out, but hey then you can't just leave them open only to collect more dirt and such right?

Problem: I personally can not bare the cold. Pathetic. I know but I just can't do it. So how am I suppose to compress my pores after expanding them in my daily shower and face washings?

Solution: Go to the dollar store or wherever you like shopping and get yourself a mini spray bottle (just not a Windex size) now fill it with water and put it in the fridge. Grab it before every shower and take it in with you.

If your having problems remembering to retrieve your pore compressor from the fridge then just leave it in the shower,

Now once you are all done your shower duties, grab your handy dandy spray bottle and spray your entire face, neck and chest, and your lushious locks of hair. BE GENERIOUS. Makre sure you really cool down these parts to induce the compression of pores.

Don't forget to refill it at the end of your shower for next time as the water will cool in there or be chilled in the fridge and then shut the shower off!

Vuwala! Much shinier and smoother, healthier looking hair....
a very clean soft feel, and the smallest pores naturally possible on your face, neck and chest!

All without freezing to death in your washroom! Score!

OMG Biotin!! (B7 or Vitamin H)

This shall be a short and sweet article just like this easy to do hair and nail treatment.

Biotin vitamins won't specifically help the hair or nails you already have on the surface but what it will do is feed and heal your scalp and nail beds so that they start producing stronger, thicker, healthier, shinier, and faster growing hair and nails

Easy as opening the lid of the bottle or your pill case everyday to take one tablet. There are no side effects that I have experienced in anyway and it can be taken at night, during the day and with it or without food.

Swiss Natural Sources!

You don't by any means need to get the same brand as I have, I personally just like the Swiss brand because they have a very basic purpose statement on the front of each vitamin they produce.

As a quick side note, Biotin is also key for your metabolism, the vitamin can break down almost any type of food, including fats, proteins and carbohydrates!

It's Sun In season ladies!!!!

Blondes in the summer need not worry about sun and bleach combo damage. Sun In can be a blondes best friend.

Alright so your hair is growing and it's finally healthy, but your roots aren't anywhere close to the tone of the platinum blonde hair you rock. Fear not Sun In is here! (depending on the shade of your hair as I suggest only dirty blondes or lighter use this product to match roots 100% to bleach, other than that its great for anyone or any hair colour. (Dark browns and blacks will just find more of a  lightened brassy bronzey brown look, Red will go orange before you are done as this is a gradual process).

Usage:
Everyday take a shower and coat your roots alone in Sun In while your hair is still damp, proceed to brush or comb it through your strands. At this point taking a hair dryer on a hot or warm setting to the parts of your hair coated in the product will be beneficial for the lightening effects it has.

Before! (Sorry for blurriness)

Sun In uses Hydrogen Peroxide within it formula as a mild bleaching agent to lighten your hair gradually and less damaging than bleach itself over time.

After: five days: of use on my roots
With reapplications through out the day when needed

Bleach activates much better when used with heat or a plastic bag on the head to keep heat in at least. For the same reason Sun In works much much much better with your warm or hot setting on your hair dryer as the heat sets and activates it more. But because of this..:.

Be careful! This product can be very damaging if not used in proper conjunction with hydrating shampoos, conditioners, oils, treatments and masques, etc.

This product will drain your Elastin no matter who you are and how your hair is for the day and the day after you use this product (give or take).

I highly recommend Argon (Moroccan) Oil full head, full over night treatments when using Sun In as this is what I do in conjunction with Red Kens Anti-Breakage Serum during my days in order to counter the Elastin loss your hair is experiencing (loss of Elastin is why hair breaks and not just stretches, ie. think of low Elastin hairs as elastics losing their stretch, just break).

$6.99 @ Shoppers Drug Mart!
P.S. I used the Super with Lemon =D
for the pictures above!
Also be patient, let your hair bun out for any extended use of Sun In, I personally use the hair dryer with Sun In only once a week.

Blot, Blot, Blot,... Papers?

So your oily and you need a quick fix throughout your day before you reapply your make up. You don't always have time to fully remove and redo all your makeup, while going halfway just doesn't feel right. Well have you heard of blotting papers. They are a great tool for exactly these situations, because they will actually absorb your oil in seconds anywhere and not remove your make-up =O

What!?!?! That's right!

I've only every used Lise Watier's Blotting Papers when they came along with a cover up powder I used once. They worked awesome during a long shifts, sports or summer time activities. This isn't the package I had but here is what you would be looking for if your interested in trying them out...

Lise Watier Blotting Papers.

These bad boys will run yeah around $8.50 for 30 sheets at your local Shoppers Drug Mart. Which really is a great price point and you really must appreciate Lise Watier's packaging.

But are there any alternatives to this product? As with almost everything, you've guessed it, yes there is! Simple as Simple gets these little papers of are composed of almost the exact same paper as Zig-Zag Tobacco Rolling Papers are made of..... Thus you have your alternative!!

Extra thin, for me, works best, but I suppose if you have extra oily skin, the regular thickness Zig-Zags would help more, having more absorbing room. These are very very affordable at about $3-5 for 100 sheets at almost any convenience or smoke shop around. Don't be afraid to use more more than one of these at once on your oily spots as they are very cheap and ever so slightly less effective then the Lise Watier ones.

But be warned that if someone spots these in your make-up bag and you doesn't have a chance to explain that they are actually for your face, you may have some awkward situations on your hands.

Enjoy Folks!

So Really, Why Should We Be Taking Off Our Makeup every Night?

.... And if your like me, your 22 only just realizing, hey I'm not a teenager anymore and I need to clean up my act, I've never taking the time to wash my doll face off. Soooooo what's the problem, right? My skin is still great and youthful! Well were going to cover this issue, and start hitting the nail right on the head with this product......

I'm pushing this blog ahead of like 6 others I have on the go because this really really really, and yes I do mean really messed me up...

Alright so two days ago we had Jouviance training, thank God, because never have I ever, in all my Internet, blog, Youtube, forum, google after google, magazine, Talk Shows, etc. research never have I ever come across this tidbit of information......!

While our trainer was disguising the many benefits of the Jouviance product line, he mentioned one of the benefits of the Jouviance Micellular Solution..... But you must wait for that.....

New Appearance!

I've only recently been made to even ponder this concept but when you don't take your make up off every so often, like every night for instance, where did we actually think it was going..... UHOH! Don't say it's being absorbed.......

Yup. So our trainer was going over a scenario in which someone has tried literally everything to treat their acne or other issues, he explained that some patients (of dermatologists of course) end up being recommended and prescribed to surgery in order to lift the Epidermis, up off of the Dermis, basically to physically see what's upsetting the skin from the point of origin. Surgeons have found the exact same thing in women they were doing face lifts and such on...

A freaking layer of all the foundations and makeup you haven't been removing!
Yummy right!
Great so now your face is all temporarily removed and now these dermatologists are going to scrape all that makeup and gunk off your Dermis. Sounds real pleasant.
Yeah.

So there's the down and dirty knitty gritty of what I learned about my past actions with not removing my make up. Now how can I do to counter or well basically extract what I may have done with out surgery?

Back to the the #Jouviance Micellular Solution, our trainer told us this scenario specifically because he was going over the fact that we may have clients return saying after using this product to wash their face, "oh it leaves a residue, leaves a film or texture, feels gross immediately after use, this product doesn't work"

Well ladies don't be freaked out, that is actually the solution drawing out and extracting that layer of makeup and foundations under your Epidermis. Gross right, well better out than in Shriek always said. I haven't had the opportunity to try this product yet as I have a few other I've already been trying and am  finalizing my trials, but you guys better believe this is on my next try list.

If after using this product, you aren't feeling this film, residue, texture, etc, I'm gonna go on the positive assumption that you've been a good little face washer.

Thanks for reading, hope those of you who haven't started, start!
Healthy skin days people!

What's To Know About Skin & It's Care

Okay so lets lay down some basics....

Our skin has three main sections: Hypodermis, Dermis and Epidermis. Each having a significant function:

The Hypodermis, The inner most layer which is not really considered a part of your skin by some people. This layer is made up of fatty tissue which is there to insulate your body from cold temperatures the best it can, attach your skin to the bone and muscle inside of it, absorb shock or impact, and the fatty cells within this layer also store nutrients and energy to provide to your skin cells through diffusion.

The Dermis, The middle layer of your skin, between the Hypo and Epidermis. This layer is made up of Collagen and Elastin (Structural Proteins), Blood and Lymph Vessels (Blood Vessels carry nutrients and Lymph Vessels allow Lymph to pass through which collects unwanted materials in your body and sends them to the Lymphatic System to be destroyed), Mast Cells (responsible for allergic reactions & Anaphylaxis, wound healing and to heal and defend against Pathogens which are viruses, bacterium, prion, or fungus that cause disease in humans) and Fibroblasts (which also play a key role in healing wounds by migrating to the site and depositing Collagen to help the healing).

The Epidermis, The first and foremost layer of your skin, the skin you look at in the mirror. This section has four layers, (or five layers in your fingertips, palms, and soles of feet), I don't want to go too into depth here so basically within these layers new cells are created to replace the old dead and shed ones, they give skin its' protective proprieties, picking up major Keratin as they make their way from the innermost layer of the epidermis to the outer, making skin waterproof as another defense from organisms by making it unsuitable to live on. Diffusion is no longer strong enough to pass cells nutrients in the third, fourth and fifth layers, so they begin to die and harden. They create barriers that minimizes water loss and cells start to retain moisture that can protect against chemical irritants, allergens, invading microorganisms and when or if this moisture barrier isn't holding you'll find dryness, itchiness, redness, stinging or other concerns which is your skins way of telling you.

Note that the Hypodermis is directly under the Dermis

Our skin takes about 28 days to completely rejuvenate itself from the Stratum Germinativum layer outward to the Stratum Corneum and this process is otherwise called the Skin Cell Renewal.

If you use a cheap, peg wall, or normal quality product for skin care, you can get those immediate results, but the original problem can also be just reoccurring every aprx. 28 days, because generally these products aren't making it through the Dermis to the Epidermis, and no where close to the Hypodermis therefore your only treating the visible skin and the skin with problems is just lying underneath a couple weeks away.

Thanks for reading!

What are these fibers in my Mascara?

Okay so what's the deal!?! If you can't apply fake lashes by yourself but really need a boost... Your screwed right?

WRONG! Appearing I believe first in 2012 (Correct me if I'm wrong!!), a new type of mascara hit the market for consumer use. Fiber formula mascaras. I'm finding them very slow to make it to each brand and with not very much publicity either. But none the less, I'm in love with #Rimmel London's Lash Accelerator with Lash Complex.

I use to always wear waterproof mascaras and this of course took a real toll on my lashes for a long time. Once I started realizing the damage waterproof was causing I slowly forced myself to switch back to normal mascara in order to keep the lashes I still had. Over the next couple years my lashes healed and grew back but ill never risk that one again.

Another problem I have with my lashes is from the root to the middle is a very light black, while the other half toward the tip is blonde! As you can imagine it barely looks like I have eyelashes without Mascara on and even with mascara I just find that I have rather short eyelashes.

This newer type mascara is great because it actually has little fibers in the formulas and when you are coating your lashes these fibers grab on to more or less the ends of your lashes, extending them while looking completely natural other than the actually blackness and thickness of the mascara, giving you that very full, celebrity natural fake eyelash look without any extra steps in the morning, none to very mild maintenance during the day depending on how much you touch your eyes or lashes and this product is a peg wall product and will run your little wallet about $9.99 at your local Shoppers Drug Mart. Personally I think that's a great price for what this Mascara does to your eyes...

Before
After
On a couple other blogs I've scrolled through, I noticed that other girls were talking

about fibers in eyes through out the day. Well just so you know they were mostly talking about Mayballine Illegal Length, I myself have never used this product, just passing on the info. Personally I think all fiber mascaras could potential have this problem if you play with your eyes or sleep with it on allowing the mascara to weaken and the fibers to fall off. However I don't notice any fibers just falling off throughout the day unless I have itchy eyes or am sleepy because I'm touchy my lash line more often so careful.

Just for the record, peg wall product just means that the price point is around $8-20.

In the near future I'll be posting an article about proper and perfect application and maintenance of your fiber mascaras, I may or may not include regular mascaras as well.

Beautiful skin. It may be buried. But it's there!

Remember ladies and gents this is not for everyone, it's not 100% for sure, it's a possible guide to what can be causing your skin to flare up every now and then or even all the time.!!!!

This guide is awesome if you are that person whose +personally tried every product, every +method, every +regiment, +pills, +creams and other +prescriptions, all with little to no help and are just looking to give something else a try.

An easy way to make sure your looking at the right +spots on your face when comparing it to this picture would be to grab a WASHABLE thin-as-you-can-find black or blue marker. Dot out the boundaries you see in the picture on your +face, the easiest thing after this is to just write the words on your face as well, however that will require a pretty fair amount of +scrubbing depending on the marker, and if you have easy to +irritate and +aggravate +facial skin I highly +recommend using as little marker and as little scrubbing off action as you can.

If your having trouble picking which spots on your face are part of which category on the diagram, you can very easily just +snap a pic of yourself with the +lines drawn on your face, NO MAKE-UP OR OTHER PRODUCTS ON, send it my way, and I'll get back to you within the same day or next.

Once you've or we have pin pointed your possible troubling internal areas, you can publicly comment on this article, or of course privately message me, I have many social networks, but I'm unsure how to private message on here thus far soo......FAIL, anyways, yeah so contact me however about which they are and I shall reply with a regiment of +natural and well +price pointed +items you should acquire to +counter what may be +upsetting your organs or insides and the effects this may be having your facial skin.

Thanks so much for reading guys and remember;

Beautiful skin. It may be buried. But it's there for you to unlock.

Ladies or gents interested?!?

I realize that I don't have many people flocking to my blog as of right now, but for the people who are taking the time to give my blog a look over, I wanna offer to you awesome people a free face mask trial.

Completely natural and organic, made in Canada cause I make them lol! If you are interested people comment and let me know Ill get one in your hands free of charge to you!

Upon request we will be discussing any allergies you guys might have in which case I can alter the ingredients to avoid any irritation and such.

Three Products to Die for....

I've got to say that I'm absolutely hooked on two Athens Korres and one RoC product. They truly are fabulous feeling, smelling (both Korres products with only #natural fragrance in extracted forms, and with all three you will notice their effects right away.) well price pointed for their noticeable benefits, which, obviously in today's market is becoming a necessity for consumers to trust a product they haven't tried or know someone whose tried before.
Okay so batter up....

1.Athens Korres Pomegranate Cleansing & Make-up Removing Wipes for Face and Eyes (Oily- Comb Skin), which I personally enjoy because the cleansing wipes themselves are very strong yet very very soft, more so acidic on the pH scale than the Korres Milk Wipes, (which BTW +Kelly O'Brien uses/has used and loves) therefore they are great for the summer (as Canada's climate forces us to mostly change products from season to season...) Personally I wash my face of daily dirt first, then use two wipes until they wipe white on my eyes, lashes, face and neck. Also people I know it can be a touchy, embarrassing subject, but RAZOR BURN, yessss!!!! That embarrassing embarrassing irritation that you get sometimes!!! Well well well, these will have that irratation hitting the highway with their soothing proporties, cleaning abilities and over all just coolin sensation. You'll be happy you have them. Also just for the record these wipes are absolutely great in combination with Qutipes for cleaning your ears as is any wipe.
$16 for 25 Wipes

Now then product number two (for the record this is a new discovery of mine, since attending the Johnson & Johnson RoC and Athens Korres Schooling, where we all received this amazing product free to try and promote...........

2.Athens Korres Yoghurt Body Butter. Now allow me to be the first to say... "great another butter... common guys its too heavy, I don't like applying it, Butters don't slide or apply well....",  Blah Blah Blah, etc, etc, etc.STOP Trust me on this one guys, I really wish they had just named it or labeled it as a Yoghurt Body Yoghurt.... Yes yes it's true I never went to naming school or marketing or whichever that would be considered. Shhhh don't laugh! But really ladies, and hopefully gents, this stuff has a thiiiiick yogurt texture, very creamy, light weight after a minute or two of application, and yes people it smooths on like, like, like well you can finish that analogy once you try it! NOW THEN the only con I have with this product is.... OMG can we please get this in a pump bottle!!! I enjoy this product, or have been at least every single day since I've gotten it, and really I want an easier to get at the product container so when I'm all goosebumpy, fresh out of the shower (where I've been using product number 3), scrambling for my life, warmth, lotion and clothing, I can get this awesome product on my skin quicker and with less hassle!
$33 for 235mL

Again a new discovery from school....

3. RoC Enydrial Extra-Emollient Rich Shower Cream (Dry, Very Dry, and Sensitive skin) This product doesn't lather, but it doesn't need to either, trust me, after one use, literally, any turning white from dryness skin, will be almost 100% normal again, you'll feel hydrated in so many ways and in so many areas...ouuuuu. jokes, you'll have no tightness and conveniently this awesome product does come in a easy to use pump container, however I find the pump to be rather short and because of this you receive very small pumps at a time, but I'm sure there is a reason for this and I shall edit it in when I've found out.
$24 for 400mL
